Eucalyptus plantation

E-globulus is a free online platform for knowledge transfer in forestry of eucalyptus sustainable forest management, carried by RAIZ. This is an innovative tool aiming to provide advisory services to forest owners. The forest owner has to register to the platform. The process involves only 3 steps: 1st the owner adds his property delimiting it directly on Google Maps or importing a shapefile; 2nd he is asked to characterize his property and forest (e.g. age stand rotation, soil details, topography); 3rd he is asked to specify if he wants to establish a new stand or maintain an existing one and he is immediately provided with technical prescription.
