Webinar – Let’s Talk About Planted Forests – Registration

Registrations are now closed

The Let’s talk about Planted Forests webinar will take place on 21 April 2023 at 1.30 pm CEST.

This month, Let’s Talk About Planted Forests will address the subject of monitoring and control of invasive pests and pathogens, in EU planted forests.

To discuss this subject, the IEFC invited 4 experts. Here’s a quick overview of our speakers:

– Hervé Jactel, INRAE
– Nichola Luchi, National Research Council of Italy
– Christophe Orazio, IEFC and Samantha Green, Coventry University

During this webinar, Hervé Jactel will comment on the main outcomes of the HOMED project that finished in 2022. Samantha Green  will tell us about the citizen science to detect new damages in UK and Christophe Orazio will introduce Silvalert. Nicola Luchi will focus on tools for monitoring biotic risks.

The replay is available here. (access restricted to members)

This event is co-organized by the IEFC, the IUFRO task force “Resilient Planted Forest Serving Society & Bioeconomy” and the EFI Research Network on Planted Forests
