In addition to one-off events and medium-term projects,  IEFC and its partners collaborate through jointly established R&D infrastructures and various partnerships. These open infrastructures facilitate data sharing, participatory science, discussion forums, knowledge exchange, and  research on case studies. They all serve the overall ambition of the network, which is to facilitate the sharing of knowledge for developing the resilience of planted forests. The longevity and usefulness of these resources depend on the ongoing dedication of IEFC teams and partners to maintain and update them.
