This conference is intended to bring researchers from around the world together to focus on this global issue and interact with local forest managers and other interested forestry stakeholders. It will provide a forum to discuss and compare current approaches to manage risk while enhancing and protecting the values our forests provide.
he conference will include a field trip to view the impact of recent extreme events to foster discussion about future silviculture management to address climate related events in general.
