How to get to Bordeaux
You can get to Bordeaux easily by plane, bus, train or car. See below for directions and a map.
By car
If you are coming to Bordeaux by car there are three highways that will take you there, the A63 and A62 that come from Spain, and the A10 that comes from Paris. These highways will lead you to Bordeaux’s highway A630 that surrounds the city and where you can find all the main entrances to Bordeaux.
By plane
Bordeaux is easily accessible by plane. There are direct flights to Bordeaux from several French and European cities like Paris, Lyon, London, Madrid, Lisbon or Amsterdam. There is a shuttle bus service from the airport to Bordeaux downtown at St Jean train station (“Gare Saint Jean”) and a tramway (line A) from airport to Bordeaux city centre.

By train
Bordeaux is served by a train station. There is a direct TGV connection from Paris to Bordeaux. The train station is called “Gare Saint Jean” and from there you can take a taxi, bus or tramway to the city centre. You can plan your trip using the french national railways website.

From Bordeaux Saint-Jean railway station (3 options)
By Tramway (approx. 40 minutes): Access by line C (Gare de Blanquefort or Bordeaux Parc des Expositions), get off at “Quinconces “. Then take Line B (PESSAC Centre / PESSAC France Alouette) and get off at FORUM. The venue is a 7-minute walk from the tram station.
By Tramway (approx. 45 minutes): Access by line D (Hippodrome-Le Bouscat), get off at “Quinconces “. Then take Line B (PESSAC Centre / PESSAC France Alouette) and get off at FORUM. The venue is a 7-minute walk from the tram station.
By Bus (approx. 30 minutes): Access by line 10 (interactive map) Take the bus from the “Bauducheu” stop in the direction of “Gradignan Beausoleil” and get off at “Peixotto” stop. Walk about 10 minutes or take Tram B (BORDEAUX Berges de la Garonne / BORDEAUX Claveau) and get off at Forum. The venue is a 12-minute walk from the tram station.
From Bordeaux Airport
By Tramway: Access by line A (Floirac Dravemont), get off at “Hotel de Ville“. Then take Line B (PESSAC Centre / PESSAC France Alouette) and get off at Forum. The venue is a 7-minute walk from the tram station.
