USSE is pleased to invite you to the conference “Southern European forests facing climate change and market challenges” which will take place in Bordeaux on 29 September 2022<\/strong><\/span>.<\/p>\n

Forests in Southern Europe are facing many challenges due to climate change, which is currently reflected in the many adverse phenomena that forests are suffering, in various parts of Europe: fires, droughts, gales, pests and diseases, etc. The management of our forests is more necessary than ever. With this conference, we want to show the experience of forest owners in the USSE regions and the work they do to manage the forest reality of Southern Europe, with its specific characteristics and difficulties, in the face of the challenges of climate change and the challenges of the market.<\/p>\n

The event will be translated in English, French and Spanish.<\/p>\n


<\/span><\/span>IMPORTANT NOTICE:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

Due to circumstances beyond our control, there has been a change of venue and hotel for the event, which will finally be held at the Pullman Bordeaux Lac hotel. USSE will organise a bus transfer to the new venue from the Mercure Bordeaux Chartrons Hotel at 8.15 am, for those staying at this hotel. Participants are therefore advised to stay at this hotel.<\/p>\n

A dinner will also be organised at the Mercure Bordeaux Chartrons Hotel on 29 September at 8 pm for all conferences participants who wish to attend.<\/p>\n
