Representantes de algumas das regi\u00f5es mais inovadoras da Europa (Pa\u00eds Basco, Car\u00e9lia do Norte e Ren\u00e2nia do Norte-Vestef\u00e1lia) reuniram-se sob a \u00e9gide do Instituto Florestal Europeu (EFI) e lan\u00e7aram o novo “European Bioregions Facility” em Bilbau, em 9 e 10 de Mar\u00e7o de 2020. O objectivo desta nova estrutura consiste em trabalhar em conjunto para promover o desenvolvimento sustent\u00e1vel e a descarboniza\u00e7\u00e3o da economia. Na manh\u00e3 de 9 de Mar\u00e7o, a estrutura foi oficialmente inaugurada pelo Presidente do Pa\u00eds Basco, I\u00f1igo Urkullu, juntamente com v\u00e1rios representantes de alto n\u00edvel da Uni\u00e3o Europeia, Peter Wehrheim, Director da Unidade de Bioeconomia e Sistemas Alimentares da Direc\u00e7\u00e3o-Geral de Investiga\u00e7\u00e3o e Inova\u00e7\u00e3o da Comiss\u00e3o Europeia, Ulrika Landergren, Presidente da Comiss\u00e3o dos Recursos Naturais (NAT) do Comit\u00e9 das Regi\u00f5es e Nick Lyth, Director-Geral da Sindicato Green Angel. Tamb\u00e9m participaram na reuni\u00e3o representantes das regi\u00f5es parceiras e da EFI. Outros representantes presentes na reuni\u00e3o foram Hubert Kaiser, Ministro do Departamento de Florestas e Conserva\u00e7\u00e3o da Natureza, e o Ministro de Estado da Administra\u00e7\u00e3o Florestal do Estado da Ren\u00e2nia do Norte-Vestef\u00e1lia, Risto Poutiainen, Mayor Regional da Car\u00e9lia do Norte, e Harri Palviainen, Director-Geral de Business Joensuu, Car\u00e9lia do Norte, Arantxa Tapia, Conselheiro para o Desenvolvimento Econ\u00f3mico e Infra-estruturas, Govienro Vasco e Diana Tuomasjukka, Cientista Principal do Programa de Bioeconomia da EFI. \u00c0 tarde, foi organizada uma excurs\u00e3o \u00e0 floresta do Barazar, onde os participantes puderam descobrir os recursos florestais do Pa\u00eds Basco, e a Olatek<\/a>, uma serra\u00e7\u00e3o pertencente ao grupo Egoin<\/a>. Em 10 de Mar\u00e7o, foram realizadas reuni\u00f5es operacionais, durante as quais os parceiros apresentaram os progressos estrat\u00e9gicos das regi\u00f5es membros. Na sequ\u00eancia destas apresenta\u00e7\u00f5es, os participantes visitaram diferentes centros tecnol\u00f3gicos ligados ao Parque Cient\u00edfico e Tecnol\u00f3gico de Bizkaia (Tecanlia<\/a>, Gaiker<\/a>, NEIKER<\/a>), tendo sido examinado um programa de trabalho para a nova estrutura, incluindo estrat\u00e9gias e a\u00e7\u00f5es conjuntas, o desenvolvimento de compet\u00eancias, a cria\u00e7\u00e3o de associa\u00e7\u00f5es e o interc\u00e2mbio de experi\u00eancias.<\/p>\n
