
{"id":31425,"date":"2026-07-15T14:11:24","date_gmt":"2026-07-15T12:11:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.plantedforests.org\/?p=31425"},"modified":"2026-07-17T12:57:53","modified_gmt":"2026-07-17T10:57:53","slug":"an-update-on-new-zealand-exotic-forests-planted-radiata-pine","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.plantedforests.org\/pt\/an-update-on-new-zealand-exotic-forests-planted-radiata-pine\/","title":{"rendered":"Uma atualiza\u00e7\u00e3o sobre as florestas ex\u00f3ticas da Nova Zel\u00e2ndia \u2013 pinheiros radiata plantados"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-b6eb65dfec8117d11d90e20f639d0705 wp-block-paragraph\">Ap\u00f3s o <a href=\"https:\/\/www.plantedforests.org\/webinars-replays\/22-05-2025-genetic-resources-and-short-rotation-forestry-complexity\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">recente webinar<\/a> organizado pela IEFC e pela nova for\u00e7a-tarefa sobre Complexidade de Parcelas em Florestas Plantadas, em conjunto com a Unidade de Investiga\u00e7\u00e3o da IUFRO \u2013 1.03.00 \u2013 Silvicultura de Curta Rota\u00e7\u00e3o (SRF), foi necess\u00e1ria uma pequena atualiza\u00e7\u00e3o sobre o estado da diversidade intraespec\u00edfica plantada, a fim de esclarecer como as florestas plantadas ex\u00f3ticas da Nova Zel\u00e2ndia s\u00e3o geridas. <em>Pinus radiata<\/em>, ou pinheiro radiata, \u00e9 uma esp\u00e9cie de \u00e1rvore ex\u00f3tica introduzida que compreende cerca de 90% da floresta plantada na Nova Zel\u00e2ndia. Embora as sele\u00e7\u00f5es gen\u00e9ticas de ponta sejam implantadas como clones, a diversidade dentro das esp\u00e9cies \u00e9 sempre uma prioridade. Isso porque a biosseguran\u00e7a e a possibilidade de pragas ou doen\u00e7as perturbarem a propriedade florestal plantada s\u00e3o fatores cr\u00edticos na forma como nossas florestas s\u00e3o geridas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-3e20816ab07c15642998bcc84f7250fd wp-block-paragraph\">A Nova Zel\u00e2ndia tem uma forte hist\u00f3ria de gest\u00e3o da diversidade gen\u00e9tica. Entre 1971 e 1985, cerca de 36 gen\u00f3tipos parentais contribu\u00edram para estabelecer cerca de 28% dos recursos florestais plantados existentes, e outros 20% foram estabelecidos com descendentes de pomares de sementes de 120 gen\u00f3tipos parentais testados entre 1985 e 1993 (Carson 1997). Isso prosseguiu, com o advento da silvicultura clonal representando apenas uma pequena parte da floresta em compara\u00e7\u00e3o com a silvicultura de pl\u00e2ntulas (Sorensson e Shelbourne 2004). Desde ent\u00e3o, os princ\u00edpios da diversidade dentro das esp\u00e9cies permaneceram muito conservadores. Os pomares de sementes da Nova Zel\u00e2ndia t\u00eam cumprido consistentemente, mas na maioria das vezes excedido a diretriz de um m\u00ednimo de 20 gen\u00f3tipos n\u00e3o relacionados (Lindgren e Prescher 2005). A conserva\u00e7\u00e3o da diversidade gen\u00e9tica \u00e9 uma estrat\u00e9gia central para a empresa, com cinco arquivos de conserva\u00e7\u00e3o gen\u00e9tica mantidos em locais geograficamente distribu\u00eddos. Estes arquivos garantem que uma grande pool gen\u00e9tica esteja dispon\u00edvel para reprodu\u00e7\u00e3o e implanta\u00e7\u00e3o quando necess\u00e1rio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-e3cf71f6cb609b70b71c7be6c3b4a4a6 wp-block-paragraph\">Em 2024, dados de um <strong>inqu\u00e9rito nacional a viveiros<\/strong> indicaram que cerca de 89% do pinheiro radiata plantado prov\u00e9m de pl\u00e2ntulas cultivadas em campo e cerca de 11% de pl\u00e2ntulas em contentores (o que inclui estacas\/clones).
