Em 16 de setembro de 2016, realizou-se em Praga a confer\u00eancia anual do EFI<\/a> (European Forest Institute), organiza\u00e7\u00e3o internacional composta por 36 Estados que ratificaram a conven\u00e7\u00e3o e com uma presen\u00e7a importante em Bruxelas, mas tamb\u00e9m com escrit\u00f3rios em v\u00e1rias cidades e pa\u00edses: Joensuu, Bona, Barcelona, Roma e Kuala Lumpur. De 2009 a 2019, os parceiros do IEFC mantiveram em funcionamento o escrit\u00f3rio regional do EFI, com sede em Bord\u00e9us, dedicado \u00e0s florestas plantadas. Foi em 2020, com o encerramento deste escrit\u00f3rio regional, que o IEFC contratou pessoal para manter uma liga\u00e7\u00e3o que permitisse a comunica\u00e7\u00e3o partilhada sobre algumas das a\u00e7\u00f5es, tais como a publica\u00e7\u00e3o de factsheets<\/a> e a organiza\u00e7\u00e3o de webinars \u00abLet\u2019s Talk About Planted Forests<\/a>\u00bb. Estas a\u00e7\u00f5es s\u00e3o assim levadas a cabo pelo IEFC no \u00e2mbito da rede de investiga\u00e7\u00e3o do EFI sobre florestas plantadas.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Al\u00e9m disso, esses webinars tamb\u00e9m s\u00e3o realizados pela Task Force da IUFRO, uma das 12 selecionadas na primavera de 2025 entre 25 candidaturas: \u00abComplexidade dos povoamentos em planta\u00e7\u00f5es florestais: explorar a complexidade dos povoamentos para melhorar a resili\u00eancia das planta\u00e7\u00f5es monoespec\u00edficas e mistas, em benef\u00edcio da natureza, do clima e das popula\u00e7\u00f5es\u00bb. A Task Force da IUFRO \u00e9 um grupo de trabalho composto por cerca de quarenta volunt\u00e1rios de todos os continentes. A IUFRO – Uni\u00e3o Internacional das Organiza\u00e7\u00f5es de Investiga\u00e7\u00e3o Florestal \u00e9 uma das mais antigas organiza\u00e7\u00f5es dedicadas \u00e0 coopera\u00e7\u00e3o cient\u00edfica florestal entre universidades e organismos de investiga\u00e7\u00e3o. Desde 2019, est\u00e1 aberta \u00e0 coopera\u00e7\u00e3o com os intervenientes, para tratar de temas transversais atrav\u00e9s das \u00abTask Forces\u00bb, que incluem intervenientes da sociedade civil, al\u00e9m de investigadores de cada uma das divis\u00f5es da IUFRO.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

A Task Force 47<\/a> re\u00fane cerca de quarenta pessoas envolvidas em florestas plantadas em todo o mundo. Embora a IEFC seja uma associa\u00e7\u00e3o organizacional, este grupo de trabalho est\u00e1 aberto a qualquer pessoa f\u00edsica que deseje investir na resili\u00eancia e gest\u00e3o das florestas plantadas em todo o mundo. Al\u00e9m disso, este grupo de trabalho publica artigos, organiza eventos, incluindo o Congresso Internacional de Florestas Plantadas, que ocorre a cada 5 anos. A \u00faltima edi\u00e7\u00e3o<\/a> foi realizada no Qu\u00e9nia em 2023, e a pr\u00f3xima ser\u00e1 em 2028 na Am\u00e9rica do Norte.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Um parceiro privilegiado desta Task Force \u00e9 a FAO – Organiza\u00e7\u00e3o das Na\u00e7\u00f5es Unidas para a Alimenta\u00e7\u00e3o e a Agricultura, que, ap\u00f3s ter contado com o apoio do IEFC para a organiza\u00e7\u00e3o da 27\u00aa sess\u00e3o da IPC<\/a> (Comiss\u00e3o Internacional sobre \u00c1rvores de Crescimento R\u00e1pido que Sustentam as Pessoas e o Ambiente), solicita novamente ao instituto que atualize a estrat\u00e9gia da IPC em 2026.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

O IEFC \u00e9 membro da rede europeia de consultores florestais FOREXT, coordenada pela EFI e pelos organismos respons\u00e1veis pela promo\u00e7\u00e3o da gest\u00e3o junto dos propriet\u00e1rios florestais, como o CNPF em Fran\u00e7 a. O objetivo do IEFC \u00e9 transmitir algumas mensagens sobre as florestas plantadas num contexto de popularidade da floresta de cobertura cont\u00ednua.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

O IEFC tamb\u00e9m faz parte da rede de territ\u00f3rios resinosos da Europa<\/a>, coordenada pelo CESEFOR, que contribui para partilhar informa\u00e7\u00f5es t\u00e9cnicas e econ\u00f3micas sobre a resinagem<\/a> na Europa e, em particular, permitiu produzir a nota de s\u00edntese sobre a evolu\u00e7\u00e3o do mercado da resina<\/a>, bem como o cartaz sobre os produtos resinosos.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Al\u00e9m disso, o IEFC \u00e9 ativo em redes de \u00e2mbito nacional e est\u00e1 envolvido nas tem\u00e1ticas dos seus membros, tais como o RMT AFORCE<\/a> para a adapta\u00e7\u00e3o das florestas \u00e0s altera\u00e7\u00f5es clim\u00e1ticas. O IEFC tamb\u00e9m apoia os encontros internacionais do GEFF<\/a> (Grupo de Entomologistas Florestais Franc\u00f3fonos), a interprofissional FRANCE DOUGLAS sobre o douglas, a PROPOPULUS, a rede europeia para o \u00e1lamo, etc.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
