O ano de 2025 foi o quarto pior, desde 2001, em termos de \u00e1rea ardida em Portugal, o pior de sempre em Espanha, e o ano que marca a chegada do nem\u00e1todo do pinheiro (<em>Bursaphelenchus xylophilus<\/em>) \u00e0s florestas francesas. O IEFC tem estado atento \u00e0s crescentes amea\u00e7as que as florestas plantadas enfrentam. O IEFC tamb\u00e9m tem contribu\u00eddo ativamente para a produ\u00e7\u00e3o e divulga\u00e7\u00e3o de conhecimento como parceiro em projetos de investiga\u00e7\u00e3o, tais como o FIRE-RES, que aborda a gest\u00e3o de inc\u00eandios florestais extremos, ou o HOMED e o FORSAID, que se concentram no desenvolvimento de solu\u00e7\u00f5es pr\u00e1ticas para a gest\u00e3o de amea\u00e7as bi\u00f3ticas emergentes, nativas e n\u00e3o nativas, incluindo a utiliza\u00e7\u00e3o de tecnologias digitais inovadoras para a sua dete\u00e7\u00e3o precoce.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-6d2fa618553ea2cc0aed179dfb1b5606\">A rede do IEFC tem fornecido um fluxo cont\u00ednuo de informa\u00e7\u00f5es sobre esses t\u00f3picos desde 2002. Como conclus\u00e3o da Assembleia Geral de 2025, realizada no Pa\u00eds Basco, o IEFC, com o apoio das Regi\u00f5es parceiras, lan\u00e7ar\u00e1 uma p\u00e1gina da web intitulada \u00ab<strong>Observat\u00f3rio da sa\u00fade das florestas plantadas<\/strong>\u00bb, reunindo informa\u00e7\u00f5es sobre as principais amea\u00e7as bi\u00f3ticas \u00e0s florestas, come\u00e7ando com o nem\u00e1todo do pinheiro e a ferrugem das agulhas que afetam as planta\u00e7\u00f5es de pinheiros. Este site conter\u00e1 resultados cient\u00edficos, declara\u00e7\u00f5es legais e links para outros sites com informa\u00e7\u00f5es \u00fateis. A import\u00e2ncia desta amea\u00e7a levou \u00e0 escolha da sa\u00fade como tema de abertura do 1.\u00ba webinar de 2026, \u00ab<a href=\"https:\/\/www.plantedforests.org\/iefc-webinars-replays-lets-talk-about-planted-forests\/\">Vamos falar sobre florestas plantadas<\/a>\u00bb, que ser\u00e1 dedicado ao surgimento do Bursaphelencus na Aquit\u00e2nia. As amea\u00e7as que as florestas enfrentam n\u00e3o se restringem \u00e0s fronteiras, tornando essencial o desenvolvimento de oportunidades transfronteiri\u00e7as de gest\u00e3o florestal e de networking.
