The Let\u2019s talk about Planted Forests <\/strong>webinar will take place on 25 November 2022 at 2pm<\/strong> CET.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Join us online to discuss on our next theme: clearcutting<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This month, Let\u2019s Talk About Planted Forests will address the subject of clearcutting and the impact on plantations, following the collective \u00ab\u00a0CREFF Expertise\u00a0\u00bb led by the GIP Ecofor and the RMT Aforce since march 2021, aiming to draw up a state of knowledge on clearcutting and forests stand renewal, and an analysis of renewal methods in a climate change context.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To discuss this subject, the IEFC invited 3 experts:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Herv\u00e9 Jactel, will present the results of a meta analysis about clearcutting impact on biodiversity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Metodi Sotirow will talk about the overview of the regulation on clearcutting in Europe and trends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jean-Fran\u00e7ois Dh\u00f4te will speak about carbon balance among a revolution with and without clearcutting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
