Imagine una noche en la que compartir\u00e1 habitaci\u00f3n con un elefante africano, una familia de lobos o avutardas, entre otros muchos animales. Una noche en la que podr\u00e1 hablar con investigadores que le contar\u00e1n por qu\u00e9 les apasiona su trabajo y en qu\u00e9 consiste exactamente. Todo esto es lo que ocurre cada a\u00f1o durante la Noche Europea de los Investigadores en el Museo Nacional de Ciencias Naturales (MNCN-CSIC)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">El \u00e9xito es tal que cada a\u00f1o las entradas, que son gratuitas, se agotan en el primer minuto de estar a la venta. Eso es lo peor del evento, saber que no podemos dar cabida a todas las personas que est\u00e1n interesadas en participar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">Este a\u00f1o, entre las 16 actividades educativas que muestran el trabajo de investigaci\u00f3n y conservaci\u00f3n que se realiza en este museo de historia natural, hemos contado con la presencia de Andr\u00e9s Bravo y Elena Concepci\u00f3n. Ambos forman parte del proyecto europeo COMFOR-SUDOE (COMplex FORests en el Suroeste de Europa). Un proyecto de investigaci\u00f3n en colaboraci\u00f3n con el Institut Europ\u00e9en de la For\u00eat Cultiv\u00e9e (IEFC), entre otras instituciones, cuyo objetivo es promover los bosques complejos (mixtos e irregulares) y las plantaciones multiespec\u00edficas como estrategia para mitigar los efectos del cambio clim\u00e1tico y la crisis de la biodiversidad<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">Una de las partes m\u00e1s importantes del proyecto es establecer un di\u00e1logo entre la sociedad, el mundo cient\u00edfico y los gestores pol\u00edticos para mejorar el conocimiento de los bosques; ayudar a todos a entender su valor y fomentar una gesti\u00f3n sostenible basada en la informaci\u00f3n cient\u00edfica<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">Para alertar a los m\u00e1s j\u00f3venes de su importancia, durante la Noche Europea de los Investigadores, Andr\u00e9s y Elena explicaron a los participantes c\u00f3mo los bosques contribuyen a nuestro bienestar; qu\u00e9 es lo que hace que los \u00e1rboles sean un refugio para tantas especies; o por qu\u00e9 un bosque mixto soporta mejor las perturbaciones ambientales.
