Join us online to discuss on our next theme: clearcutting<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This month, Let\u2019s Talk About Planted Forests will address the subject of clearcutting and the impact on plantations, following the collective \u00abCREFF Expertise\u00bb<\/a> led by the GIP Ecofor and the RMT Aforce since march 2021, aiming to draw up a state of knowledge on clearcutting and forests stand renewal, and an analysis of renewal methods in a climate change context.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To discuss this subject, the IEFC invited 3 experts:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Herv\u00e9 Jactel, will present the results of a meta analysis about clearcutting impact on biodiversity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Metodi Sotirow will talk about the overview of the regulation on clearcutting in Europe and trends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jean-Fran\u00e7ois Dh\u00f4te will speak about carbon balance among a revolution with and without clearcutting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
