{"id":3488,"date":"2020-04-15T15:05:26","date_gmt":"2020-04-15T13:05:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.iefc.net\/?p=3488"},"modified":"2023-08-25T11:36:54","modified_gmt":"2023-08-25T09:36:54","slug":"bioregions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.plantedforests.org\/es\/bioregions\/","title":{"rendered":"European Bioregions Facility"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Representantes de algunas de las regiones m\u00e1s innovadoras de Europa (Pa\u00eds Vasco, Carelia del Norte en Finlandia y Renania del Norte-Westfalia en Alemania) se reunieron bajo el paraguas del Instituto Forestal Europeo (EFI) y lanzaron la nueva \u201cEuropean Bioregions Facility\u201d en Bilbao los d\u00edas 9 y 10 de marzo de 2020. El objetivo de esta nueva estructura es trabajar juntos para promover el desarrollo sostenible y la descarbonizaci\u00f3n de la econom\u00eda. En la ma\u00f1ana del 9 de marzo, la estructura fue inaugurada oficialmente por el Presidente del Pa\u00eds Vasco, I\u00f1igo Urkullu, junto con varios representantes de alto nivel de la Uni\u00f3n Europea Peter Wehrheim, Director de la Unidad de Bioeconom\u00eda y Sistemas Alimentarios de la Direcci\u00f3n General de Investigaci\u00f3n e Innovaci\u00f3n de la Comisi\u00f3n Europea, Ulrika Landergren, Presidenta de la Comisi\u00f3n de los Recursos Naturales (NAT) del Comit\u00e9 Europeo de las Regiones y Nick Lyth, Director General del Sindicato Green Angel. Tambi\u00e9n asistieron a la reuni\u00f3n representantes de las regiones asociadas y del EFI. Otros representantes que asistieron a la reuni\u00f3n fueron Hubert Kaiser, Ministro del Departamento de Silvicultura y Conservaci\u00f3n de la Naturaleza, y el Ministro de Estado para la Administraci\u00f3n Forestal del Estado de Renania del Norte-Westfalia, Risto Poutiainen, Alcalde Regional de Carelia del Norte, y Harri Palviainen, Director General de Business Joensuu, Carelia del Norte, Arantxa Tapia, Consejera de Desarrollo Econ\u00f3mico e Infraestructuras, Govienro Vasco y Diana Tuomasjukka, Cient\u00edfica Principal del Programa\u00a0 de Bioeconom\u00eda del EFI. Por la tarde, se organiz\u00f3 una excursi\u00f3n al bosque de Barazar, donde los participantes pudieron descubrir los recursos forestales del Pa\u00eds Vasco, y a <a href=\"https:\/\/olatek.es\/\">Olatek<\/a>, un aserradero perteneciente al grupo <a href=\"https:\/\/egoin.com\/\">Egoin<\/a>. El 10 de marzo tuvieron lugar reuniones operacionales, durante las cuales los asociados presentaron los avances estrat\u00e9gicos de las regiones miembros. Tras estas presentaciones, los participantes visitaron diferentes centros tecnol\u00f3gicos vinculados al Parque Cient\u00edfico y Tecnol\u00f3gico de Bizkaia (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tecnalia.com\/en\/\">Tecanlia<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gaiker.es\/ing\/index.aspx\">Gaiker<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/neiker.eus\/en\/\">NEIKER<\/a>), y se examin\u00f3 un programa de trabajo para la nueva estructura, incluyendo estrategias y acciones conjuntas, el desarrollo de competencias, la creaci\u00f3n de asociaciones y el intercambio de experiencias.<\/p>\n<p>Se espera que otras regiones se unan a la Bioregions Facility en un futuro pr\u00f3ximo.
