
{"id":31425,"date":"2026-07-15T14:11:24","date_gmt":"2026-07-15T12:11:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.plantedforests.org\/?p=31425"},"modified":"2026-07-17T12:57:53","modified_gmt":"2026-07-17T10:57:53","slug":"an-update-on-new-zealand-exotic-forests-planted-radiata-pine","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.plantedforests.org\/es\/an-update-on-new-zealand-exotic-forests-planted-radiata-pine\/","title":{"rendered":"Actualizaci\u00f3n sobre los bosques ex\u00f3ticos de Nueva Zelanda: pino radiata plantado"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-c14fb3ad944346ece39f2ba499fb4514 wp-block-paragraph\">Tras el <a href=\"https:\/\/www.plantedforests.org\/webinars-replays\/22-05-2025-genetic-resources-and-short-rotation-forestry-complexity\/\">reciente seminario web<\/a> organizado por el IEFC y el nuevo grupo de trabajo sobre la Complejidad de las Masas en Bosques Plantados, junto con la Unidad de Investigaci\u00f3n 1.03.00 de la IUFRO, dedicada a la Silvicultura de Rotaci\u00f3n corta (SRF), se consider\u00f3 oportuno actualizar la informaci\u00f3n sobre el estado de la diversidad intraespec\u00edfica del material plantado para aclarar c\u00f3mo se gestionan las plantaciones forestales de especies ex\u00f3ticas en Nueva Zelanda. <em>Pinus radiata<\/em>, o pino radiata, es una especie arb\u00f3rea ex\u00f3tica introducida que constituye aproximadamente el 90 % de los bosques plantados en Nueva Zelanda. Si bien las selecciones gen\u00e9ticas m\u00e1s destacadas se utilizan como clones, la diversidad intraespec\u00edfica sigue siendo una prioridad. Esto se debe a que la bioseguridad y el riesgo de que plagas o enfermedades afecten a los bosques plantados son factores cr\u00edticos en la gesti\u00f3n de nuestros bosques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-ff5b5e1e0b4f0d428382ab2cd0de8dd7 wp-block-paragraph\">Nueva Zelanda cuenta con una s\u00f3lida trayectoria en la gesti\u00f3n de la diversidad gen\u00e9tica. Entre 1971 y 1985, alrededor de 36 genotipos parentales contribuyeron a establecer aproximadamente el 28 % de los recursos forestales plantados existentes, y entre 1985 y 1993 se estableci\u00f3 otro 20 % a partir de descendencia procedente de huertos semilleros con 120 genotipos parentales evaluados (Carson, 1997). Esta tendencia continu\u00f3, a pesar de que la silvicultura clonal representaba tan solo una peque\u00f1a proporci\u00f3n del total frente a la silvicultura basada en pl\u00e1ntulas (Sorensson y Shelbourne 2004). Desde entonces, los criterios de diversidad intraespec\u00edfica se han mantenido muy conservadores. Los huertos semilleros de Nueva Zelanda han cumplido sistem\u00e1ticamente, y en su mayor\u00eda han superado, la directriz de un m\u00ednimo de 20 genotipos no relacionados (Lindgren y Prescher 2005). La conservaci\u00f3n de la diversidad gen\u00e9tica es una estrategia fundamental para la empresa, que cuenta con cinco archivos de conservaci\u00f3n gen\u00e9tica distribuidos geogr\u00e1ficamente.
